  • Jack Johnson Admits He Was Genuinely KO'd

"It was a clean knockout and the best man won. It was not a matter of luck. I have no kick coming." Jack Johnson after he lost his world heavyweight title via 26th-round KO to the massive hard-hitting 'Pottawatomie Giant' Jess Willard in Havana in 1915.

    Jack Johnson Quote

'The more I think of it, the more I am convinced that the two biggest crimes of my career were, being born colored, and, second, battering Jim Jeffries into insensibility at Reno. I couldn't help the first, and I could have only avoided the second by lying down. So I have nothing on my conscience....

  • And if they call you a KUNT? Just ignore it and continue debating with them? I don't think so,not this poster, that leaves me with two options, respond in kind and get banned. or cease exchanging with them, which is the option I have chosen.

Oh how I would have liked to have met you 30 years ago. Now? You're worth neither my time or my effort.

Just stick to making posts about ancient fighters, posters not only don't remember, they have never even heard of, and also have zero interest in.
When you realise you are forcibly...

Anyway, it's done now, bridges have been burned,no...

I'm done with that ,I don't initiate insults, and I sure do not appreciate them. I'm an old man now,but anyone calling me ,"feminine",should have been face to face with me 3 decades ago,I think I would have been able to change their mind on that without too much difficulty....

    T .I GOT IT WRONG!

DeForest did NOT fall out with Dempsey, he left his position as trainer with him because he wanted a rest, they parted on good terms and he was asked by Dempsey to return.
DeForest next took the position as the Polo Grounds promoter.MY MISTAKE

He was also his ghost writer, that doesn't make him a real boxing person, or one likely to be in a crowded dressing room when Dempsey was only a challenger for the title. When did Brown begin his employment with Dempsey?

Nat Fleischer, later founder of Ring Magazine, was an eyewitness reporter,...
