Thats kind of what I was driving at. Do we put him more towards the Calzaghe, Rosenbloom end of the spectrum (offense as defense)?
I always figured he was definitely not the Foreman, Ketchell, Marciano style- aggressive power punchers.
Though I feasibly couldve considered him...

P4P Crawford was better than GGG. But am unsure how he fares this high up in weight- he is going up a lot from his established welterweight.
Luckily, Canelo is older than he was for GGG- not as old as GGG was fir their first fight- but close.LarryMerchant'sBottle likes this.

And thats an interesting point, because just like Fury (with Wilder) Canelo has been through some battles and has taken some shots in his career. Maybe the cumulative wear and tear will have added up for him and Crawford will be the straw to break the Camel's back. I don't think it is the case, but...

What am I missing in the '60s welters? Griffith was a stud, Napoles emerges by the end of the decade, and Cokes was good. Seems good but not great, but i'll admit not knowing much else- lemme know who else made it the best....
