I saw the post about lethal punches. I thought I'd soften it a bit. (The whole slide into death thing, seemed a bit harsh.)

Lets see if we can create a list of all the famous named punches. I got three but I will only offer one to get started.

1. The Spinks Jinx -- Micahel Spinks -- straight right hand.

Ali made it famous but he said he got it from Jack Johnson.

He became ao enamoured of the smash he forgot his boxing ability. If he had then I think he would have beaten Tyson.

Though Gavilan is famous for the punch it was Ceferino Garcia who first used it with any regularity.
