Ice I swear I'm not personally on your helmet, I just enjoy a discussion & so purely in the spirit of that, here's a quote from The Greatest himself (an actual boxer, I'm sure we can agree):

Not in the slightest, imho Katie shouldn't even take this fight (yeah yeah I know, the money is the fundamental reason) cos it's just a wack attempt to get the fake last word by tryna set her up to lose a dead rubber in a 'trilogy' she's already won but ANYway...

At first I misunderstood your comment but now I get it.
So yeah, UFC 4 was in the 90's & of course still very early in the game (in the UK we didn't even have access to the PPV's yet, just the VHS after the fact).
Big shout the cartoonish guy fr, I miss him dearly lol....MulaKO likes this.

This is a difficult one simply because (as ridiculous & made up as it currently still sounds) MVP's record in women's boxing is already stellar.
That in itself was not particularly difficult to achieve, given the state of affairs when they came in the game but someone has to invest...

WTF are you talking about?! Most boxing fans embraced MMA immediately, which was a factor in why it became so popular.

1. Jim Corbett - the reason
2. Jack Johnson - the other reason
3. Muhammad Ali - The Greatest
4. John L Sullivan - the modern first
5. Sugar Ray Robinson - Ali's reason

Nice list, I can respect it.
Only real sore spot is no Corbett (probably bump Tyson for him) & my own personal piece of opinionated potential pedantry is just to point out that despite everything Ali was, did & was put through... perhaps Jesse Owens trumps The Greatest as most important...

It isn't though, not quite.
Well, I mean... it is but it isn't because when we consider what's actually happened in the last few years in amongst all the controversial endings & decisions as well as all the belt vacating, there have been a lot of unification & undisputed fights...brankobugarski likes this.

Rest in peace to a true hero.
US Army Rangers are tough tough tough, I only know this because of that one documentary about how the final test for admission is to be randomly dropped in the Everglades with insufficient equipment.
