I was there in September so it was hot but you could easily hang around the pool for hours as there's lots of shade

It was ridiculously cheap (we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite for $280 per night) as hotel prices have come down by a huge amount since the peak

Contact the property direct as you'll always get a better deal that way

I'd happily stay there again but bear in mind that it's on Sheikh Zayed Road so basically a massive tower in the city

Cab to the beach will cost $10-$15 but you don't want to be on the beach for too long at that time of the year anyway

With the Burj, you pay an entry fee and that is used as a credit for thing that you buy in the hotel i.e. $150 gets you $150 worth of drinks but won't last long as they charge like a wounded bull
Hey bro so what's wrong with Sheikh Zayed Road? Its a massive tower city? Should I google that?

Why dont we want to be on the Beach at that time of the year? Will be too crowded, hot or dangerous?

Oh ok so the $150 goes to drinks inside so everyone must be smashed as hell by the time they get to the top then huh? LOL whats the prize of drinks there like how much is a beer or coke & rum there?

The rest of us wanna smash some thirsty IG models lol. So our best bet might be the pool parties then right?

How about Ferrari world is it worth going? or is it pretty boring? 1/2 of us love roller coasters and theme parks the other 1/2 be scared of them LOL.

I heard Singapore got some crazy rides there?

Can we just hit the duty free at the airport and bring bottle of like tequila or something to our hotel?

Location on Sheikh Zayed is heart of business district so not much fun within walking distance from hotel unless you want to go to Cavalli nightclub or know the backstreets like me ha

It’s a great hotel as is the Fairmont next door

Cabs are cheap and metro is at front door so no big deal for me as I know my way around

If you’re going in early October, it will still be really hot (40+) so you will fry on a beach

Dubai is one of the safest cities in the world

Ferrari World isn’t worth the drive unless you combine it with other things nearby

Roller coaster is the world’s fastest but takes about 1 minute

They have F1 simulators but that’s it

World’s best waterpark is next door and you can also get a ride in a F1 car at the track (that’s real fun)

Booze at the airport is very cheap and 25% of the price at the hotel

Dubai is definitely a unique experience. I went there a while back, and the mix of luxury, futuristic buildings, and traditional markets was wild. October is still warm, but it's nothing compared to the brutal summer months. Nightlife is solid, lots of high-end clubs and beach parties, but yeah, expect to spend quite a bit. Overall, it’s a fun spot, but I’d recommend combining it with another destination unless you’re really into shopping and fine dining.

If you're going, make sure you sort out your phone plan in advance. It’s easy to online, which saves you from hunting down a local store.

I went to Dubai for Usyk-Fury I. We had a great time. You definitely need a guide. Check out the BLVD entertainment area; go late at night like everyone else.

Did you visit any places nearby? We’re also going to Dubai next month! According to , the airport there is just amazing, and everything else in the city is also quite impressive. From what I’ve heard, the modern architecture and luxurious shopping malls are a must-see. I’m really looking forward to the Burj Khalifa and maybe even checking out some of the desert tours.
