When you're not acting on instinct (or rather the instinctive responses honed from years of training) your responses are going to be that much slower, you're going to start overthinking and second guessing yourself, you're going to put yourself in vulnerable positions that you might not even be aware of because you're running blind.
Wlad might well have some more success in the opening rounds, but he's leaving himself vulnerable for a devastating stoppage later in the fight. Fury is a born brawler and will have no problems handling whatever Wlad throws at him. That's his world. Unfortunately for Wlad boxing has become Fury's world as well.
