Here are a couple of clues, and a context as well.... In the Martial Arts there is a saying that teachers who preface their name with an honorific are idiots. The same applies to fighters who claim they are ATG... Even more so when they claim "just one opponent makes me____________________."

Willow Wisp has laid down a fundamental understanding of the distinction to which I would add: There are many moving parts here that need time for history to digest to truly get a picture of Crawford's place...

As a group Fighters are incredible. They also are very bad prognosticators... Most are not much on history, and they tend to overstate their value in the scheme of things.

It sounds like Canelo said that during an interview in the aftermath of Koing Cintron. Of course, Floyd jumped at the chance to drain Cinnamon. He apparently later realized his error and told Mayweather he couldn't do it. He is allowed to think better of a bad idea, is he not?

In the heat of the moment after a KO win and wanting some recognition & big $$$, Canelo initially put his foot in his mouth. Of course, Mayweather ran with it and tried to get him down as close to 150 as possible.

Doesn't change the fact that he offered the fight at 150 though, does it? Which is what that poster claimed, which, was true. He did offer to come down at 150 lbs, that's a fact.

And also on top of that, Canelo wouldn't shut up before the fight about how 152 was no problem and would be easy for him to make, not really suprising considering he weighed in only 1.5 lbs heavier in his fight before that.

Only after the fight and after being dominated did the suddenly decide he "never wanted it". Before the fight he said it was no problem countless times.
