It’s also common sense that if you approach police with aggression and violence and resist arrest, lethal consequences could very likely occur. People still behave that way though.

Common sense these days, ain’t so common.

Whoa there Major Tom, I'd just stop a second before you fire up the thrusters. First off Mr Meehan - the opthamologist - only cites one study, a Chinese metaanlysis of several smallish studies related to Flu transmission from 2018. Another Meta-analysis here cites 4 including the aforementioned Chinese one and comes to the conclusion that there is a reduction in COVID transmission through the wearing of cloth masks.

I can link a coupla more too, but the findings are roughly the same, the evidence is significant enough to act upon but not absolutely conclusive (real hard to replicate the way normal people use masks day-to-day in a quantitative study). In the case of a healthcare crisis potentially affecting tens of millions of people however it's hardly controversial that the medical and scientific communities would give advice to err on the side of caution. You really don't need to invoke a conspiracy to explain 'better safe than sorry'. Thing is in during an outbreak of disease most of the battle is fought at the margins... you don't have to, and don't expect to, stop a epidemic in it's tracks, you're just trying to reduce the rate of transmission and even a 2% or 3% reduction can make the difference between a disease being managable and it being out of control.

Secondly the whole idea that this advice was cooked up as part of a plot to oust Trump in election year ignores the fact that some seventy other major countires also advised their citizens to wear masks based on the Medical evidence available at the time. You buying that 70 other countries willingly sabotaged their own economies and made their citizens wear masks just to provide backing evidence for some Anti-Trump plot?

I'd just stick to making sure you got a clean mask to wear man, or better still a good supply of fresh new ones. That's some real solid advice right there.

As to the rest, just make sure you use your vote... I'm not a fan of your boy Trump but I am a fan of democracy and everyone having their say, so best of luck.

I thought you might find this interesting, man, I was reading up about something else entirely, but I thought I recognised the name of the site you mentioned in the OP on this State Department report so I came back to check and sure enough...

Global Research is a Canadian website that has become deeply enmeshed in Russia’s broader disinformation and propaganda ecosystem. Its large roster of fringe authors and conspiracy theorists serves as a talent pool for Russian and Chinese websites. Its publications also provide a Western voice that other elements of the ecosystem can leverage to their advantage.
PP 25 - 30 detail the connections of the Global Research site with Russian disinformation sites and names some of the GRU personas whose articles have been published by it.

GRU Authors Global Research published or republished seven authors attributed by Facebook to be false online personas created by The Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, popularly known as the GRU. Sophie Mangal, Anna Jaunger, Milko Pejovic, Adomas Abromaitis, Mariam al-Hijab, Said al-Khalaki and Mehmet Ersoy were identified by Facebook as false online personas created by the GRU, as noted in Potemkin Pages & Personas: Assessing GRU Online Operations, 2014-2019 by Renee DiResta and Shelby Grossman, published by the Stanford Internet Observatory in November 2019.105 Altogether, these seven GRU personas are responsible for 108 articles that appear on Global Research’s website.
Difficult times to know who to believe and what is disinformation or obfuscation, man. Just cos something aligns with what feels right to you doesn't mean you can trust it or the motives of those who present us with the information.

There's some very smart operators doing this stuff who have been doing it for a long time (disinformation was a key strategy of the KGB and GRU from the Soviet era, and of course the CIA had it's own departments doing the same kinda shet both domestically and abroad) and they know just what buttons to press to sow dissent and discord amongst their target audiences.

I appreciate your insight. Interesting read. I’ve always been skeptical of our own intelligence agencies as much as KGB or any other nation. Truth is, Marxists infiltrated the U.S decades ago, and each new generation is more radical than the previous. Notice AOC and the squad trying to set Pelosi aside for a more radical takeover of the party. These tactics have been discussed by former KGB agents who defected here. As far back as the 80’s.

Yuri talked about this in one of his lectures "the media portrays a police man, an officer of the United States Army as dumb, angry, psychotic, paranoid. A criminal looks nice he does hash or shoots the whatever drug, but basically he's a nice human being he's creative and he's unproductive only because society oppresses him"...exactly what is happening today with *** and defund police movements.

You better get on it. My doc told me she had a girl come in feeling real bad. They ran labs and her kidneys were being hit. Her pee was foggy also. Turns out she had a bacterial infection. She was reusing her N95 mask I guess.

My doc said that doctors wear a new mask Everytime they see a new person. They're not meant to be worn all day let alone reused.

Soon as I left the doc I text the wife and told her to wear a new mask each day. We had covid already but she's required to wear one for 9 hours straight. I went to Costco and bought five new boxes.

So all of you keep this in mind. I know you guys always doubt my doc but she is gold and found my spine hardware issue when no one could. I had gone to so many docs I lost track. She knows her chit. Anyway, do as you guys wish but I would keep up on this.
