    Can anyone help me out?

I was doing MMA for awhile, but I've decided to focus on Boxing more so for now.

I'm 17, 6'0, I weigh roughly 155-160 and I was wondering if anybody could help me come up with a good meal/nutrition plan. I'm hoping to go up to about 170-175 in muscle.

    I train 5 days a week, 1.5-2 hours sessions.

I've never really worried about my nutrition, it's just that I'm getting older and need to start to be at optimal performance when I start fighting.

Also, something that may help, I live in Las Vegas so the heat is pretty intense when we run, I could use some advice on that as well.

Again, I'd really appreciate it, anything helps.

    Thanks,
    Nico.

going up in weight will usually hinder you, unless you are starving yourself, there is a reason your body sits around 160 lbs. You can get stronger but you don't need to pack on muscle.

this is true, a lot of noobs i talk to want to fight a few divisions above their natural weight, thinking that they will be stronger if they bulk up, but compared to opponents of the higher weight class, you will just be a blownup fighter with less speed and stamina.

there is a reason why professional and elite fighters fight at lower weight class thats lighter then their natural weight.

like the others already said. watch some fights cuz if u think bulking up like that will help u u clearly dont know much about fighting. a beginner at age 17 fighting much naturally bigger guys? youre setting yourself up for a pac-hatton, jackson-graham, hearns-shuler type KO loss.

never train for weight, train for speed, power and stamina. u will end up where u are supposed to be. if u land inbetween divisions, then u can try to put on weight. even though if there was anyway u could make the lower weight thats what u should do.

kids always wanna put on muscle and look like a badass. but not even tyson, liston and foreman looked so bad when they were flat on their back. youre no tyson, foreman or liston and u will be flat on your back if u try to bulk up and fight much bigger guys this early on.

not trying to be mean just trying to warn u and make sure u understand the situation.

Well I'm already in shape, I have a very thin build but and really low percentage of body fat. I used to be 145 now I'm 155-160. I've been training with friends and at home. I had a nutrition plan but that was a few years ago. I'm not as new to this as you guys may think I am. I have plenty or speed, and I'm going to get faster, I work on that already. To go down I'd have to lose muscle because that's all of my extra weight when I came up from 145.
