Allan Green, struggles at this weight or just isn't up for it?

Guys complaining about Green talking to the ref instead of getting up should try to get hit in the head themselves and then stand up afterwards. His eyes and legs were gone. He was out of his equilibrium as they put it.

I can't hate on Green. He seems like a nice chap who doesn't waste his time and career on smoking cigarettes, eating fast food and drinking alcohol every week but he needs to reevaluate his career at this point. He has the boxers abilities but he either struggles really hard at this weight or he just doesn't have the heart to be in these championship fights - maybe both factors are into play? And why ditch your coach so late in the process?

Johnson is a veteran with almost thrice as many fights as Green. Green looked lost at times but he also made fundamental mistakes (like dropping your left instantly) you can't do as a pro boxer and Johnson made him pay for it (the overhand right). Either Green isn't ready for these big fights or he simply lacks the will to be in them. He was sick against Miranda but still put on a better performance.

I always thought he was going to be an interesting fighter with power and technique and he has looked far better in the past than now.

Shame that he's going to be forgotten now, unless he can prove us wrong with a good comeback performance. It's going to be hard to bounce back.

Hes Boxer who should have been a basketball player or a tight end or something.

            Hes an athlete.

            Not a very good boxer.

I hate to admit it because I saw alot in him and always defended him on here when he was bashed for the Miranda loss because he was in bad health but it does appear to me that he just doesn't have the mentality to be a world class fighter.

If anything he could fight Miranda again.

It doesn't matter if Green fights at 168, 175 or 200.

No matter how much his body weighs his heart only weighs half an ounce.

I never liked Green and always talked crap about him but this time I felt for him how he got hit in the back of the head like that and lost. Like Ex said though, Green is just not an elite fighter. I mean he got outboxed by Miranda.
