  • his first fight was against sharmba instead of margarito who was ranked #1

'Pretty Boy' was offered in the neighborhood of $7 million to face Margarito. In what could best be described as a 'business move', the same guy who brazenly challenged the bigger Winky Wright decided to bypass Margarito,...

  • hatton came down in weight to fight pac? he spent his career at 140, he went up in weight to fight floyd, came back down to his natural division of 140, won 2 fights, then fought pac at 140. why even make silly arguments pretending like hatton was coming down in weight? just let reality guide your argument,...

  • 4. style. lets be honest fury just looks so cool in that ring. style also is heavily weighted and accounts for 99 percent of scoring criteria. clean punching i guess would be the other 1 percent

and thats precisely why we dont take what they say seriously. they are personally invested and have political agendas behind their words.

cotto floyd was one of the biggest fights in boxing at 147. floyd literally retired instead of fighting cotto.

maybe he was but if we look...

well i would have done the same and taken the big money but i think the sergio from the martin murray fight probably beats cotto even though he should have lost that fight, but the sergio that fought cotto was much worse...

all 3 are much better than wilder who was hyped to hell because he bashed up a series of bums. these guys took tough fights and lost a couple and were labeled bums. shows you the power of soft matchmaking...

the known fighters were: trout, floyd, canelo. he lost them all. he also lost to sadam ali.

then how can you say he was good? lol

he spent about 7 years at 154, a small part of his career?

im not disparaging him at all. someone made a comment about cotto being...

it was an ok win nothing wrong with that but for fans to portray it as a top level win? it wasnt and if 154 cotto is one of your top level wins your career prob wasnt too good then. floyd has a lot of wins much better than that and even i know that and i dont like him...

they really dont have a very good hand to play because if they say pac drained cotto at 145, then floyds best win of his career against canelo at 152 comes off the board for him. they cant say with any credibility that beating cotto at 154 was a great win because it simply was not. austin trout in cottos...

they want that so bad...but it will never happen, and the sad part is floyd could have fought cotto at 147 but he ran away which makes this even more undignified...

ah well in that case great win boys! you beat a guy who has a sh-it resume but because you said he was good that proves it. or in other words "dont believe your lying eyes" "dont believe the facts" as if floyd didnt have an agenda to saying that? he ducked cotto for years until finally...

started a topic Cotto was not good at 154

Cotto was not good at 154

if you look at cotto's record at 154 he was 5-4 if you count the canelo fight which was at 155. he beat 1 top 10 ring ranked opponent which was yuri foreman ranked #6. for comparison he was 5-0 against top 10 guys at 140 and 5-2 at 147.

i have seen some people list a 154 pound cotto as...
