You could tell in the fight last night that his trainer is trying to get him to box, he was active with the jab, it would have been a good starting point..... If wilder was 22 and not 39

Humpty Dumpty Deontay was finished when he ducked Whyte. He has no confidence under that mask of swagger. Total fraud.

He just needs to retire. He’s cooked. I agree he should have never got rid of Breland but you could bring back Steward, Futch and Dundee and they ain’t getting a tune out of this shot version of Wilder.

He just went 7 with a guy novices were blowing out in a couple of rounds. Time to hang ‘em up Deontay. Massive overachiever and an incredibly fun fighter to watch. Might be a controversial take but I think he’s a lock for the HOF too. The 10 HW title defences, along with the memorability of the Fury trilogy and several highlight reel KO’s will be enough to get him in IMO.

Wilder needs to leave those gold digging women alone , stop having kids and just retire. That's what he needs to do.

He’ll get one more big payday with Joshua it looks like. Eddie Hearn is going to milk that for all it’s worth.

If I was AJ/Eddie/Matchroom I’d be looking to make it ASAP. Was always a 50/50 fight for me, I favoured AJ around 2016-18 and then I favoured Wilder from 2019-2022. Right now I think it looks like AJ-Ngannou, I think it’s an easy payday for Joshua and they can portray the narrative this always would have happened too.

Malik Scott is a garbage trainer and a yes man for Wilder (he took a dive for him too). He was just overall bad for Wilder, but now Bumsquad is shot, so even if he gets a real trainer instead of a cheerleader, it's too late for him to become the top dog again

It will be that, then the customary feeding of the faded star, to Moses Itauma; and all parties concerned, Joshua, Hearn, Itauma, the newly educated fans and especially Wilder, will have been satisfied.

People continue to say Malik Scott took a dive in their fight. I don’t know.

But he and Wilder have parted ways. Deontay still keeps Jay Deas around for some reason.

By all accounts he wasn't listening to Breland anyway.

There's no trainer that can improve Wilder. He stands back and tries to find a big right hand. There's no other way he can box because his boxing ability is nowhere near the level he wants to fight at.

Once Fury showed the world that you just have to have the balls to take away the space he was cooked.
