Morales hasn’t been stopped in his career, and he’s been in with some better fighters than Scrappy.

Stoppage would be a bit of a statement

True plus he's a last minute replacement southpaw. I want to see Scrappy try avenge that L on his record. He's more than just an 8 round pre-lim opener. That said Morales is scrappy himself.

Think Scrappy is a top level fighter and lost to another top level fighter, he should be able to climb back up to a title shot eventually.

But also think Scrappy is trying to emulate Zurdo too much, Zurdo is a cruiserweight with a pretty good gas tank and punch output, but he never goes for the kill, he let's his steady work chip down his opposition and as he has the cruiserweight punching power, he does so more easily than a Super Flyweight.

Scrappy is a bigger puncher at his specific division in Super Flyweight and shouldn't really on his gas tank as much as Zurdo does. He throws good punch combinations, but he should set uptrhem with a big shot to create openings then capitalize on the opportunity. Also not himself tire out by throwing big volume punches unless he knows he can land them.

Morales is a quite tough journeyman and throws some mean punches himself, think Gael Cabrera should test himself against Morales. Who is closer to his size range than Scrappy's.

He would get really good rounds in if he did so.

Alvarado is also a tough guy, but don't think he will perform well as he is moving down for another fight. Alvarado due to his age, had outgrown Super Featherweight reason why he looked rejuvenated at Lightweight.

Now he is fighting at Super Featherweight against Victor Morales after coming from a major loss to Hayato Tsusumi at Super Featherweight where he outskilled and performed poorly too. Think Victor will win by TKO/KO late.

Did Morales move up from Featherweight? He looks taller than Alvarado sure, but he looks to have a softer physique than before.

Oh Alvarado is quite game. The experience difference is also notable.

This fight and his fight on the Curiel-Rocha card were up at 130 lbs .
