was a 50/50 fight.. but that was before TC's fight at 154... TC's fight at 154 showed us that his power didnt carry over (at least we didnt see it), It also showed us that TC is hesitant to engage. Now picture TC taking shots from Canelo... im not saying canelo is this hard hitter with devasting power, BUT his power at 168 is respected. He has also been fighting at the higher weights so he's more custom to taking shots at this weight. So i cannot see TC hurting canelo.. I also cannot see TC successfully outboxing canelo to a decision... But it's boxing so anything can happen.

Crawford has to be one of the most respected boxers from a wide variety of groups. I bet if we could somehow make them p4p the same size majority of people would pick Crawford, as they should. Crawford is a better boxer, by far has a better ring iq, is more athletic, better punch variation, better foot work, longer reach relative to his size. But that's the thing, Canelo I believe is just too big. I think Crawford is a special once in a life time fighter whereas I think Canelo is a once in a ten-year fighter.

Did you guys all just forget that Crawford-Madrimov happened?

Extraordinary guys move up in weight and all-of-a-sudden look very ordinary. Happened to Bud moving up to 154, and now he's going to fight the P4P best two weight classes higher than a weight class he looked ordinary in?

Be serious. This is Kell Brook vs Golovkin ****.

May fan here and no one was worried about May ending them.
          Not at WW+, that is.

the plan is to outbox Saul, hurting him would be a bonus

for outboxing Saul TBud power just has to be enough to get respect

          TBud power can do that

TBud chin is the question not his power

Alvarez has a nice overhand. He was buff enough to one shot a 175 champ

Saul was offensively predictable against Scull

TBud isn’t Floyd defensively and will take hard shots at some points

Can TBud take the power instead of being broken down and stopped

Yeah that's been almost every one of Canelo's opponents plan. BJS, Saunders, Bivol, Charlo, Scull, Jacobs, Lara, Plant etc.

Crawford has the unique advantage of being smaller and weaker than those guys.

Be serious.Crawford can't hurt Canelo. Canelo can take 175 lbs punch. No chance Crawford hits harder than Bivol.

Crawford doesn't even wantt to take a stay busy fight at this point. He is old and probably washed up.

In theory, his only chance us what Sugar Leonard did to Hagler, dance around and get a close decision. But I don't see this happening.

If Crawford plays safe, he loses a wide UD. If he comes to fight, he gets stopped.

Now its happening. We know crawford wont LOOK small next to canelo, heck hes taller and hes 180s out of camp.

But Charlo looked the same size or larger and he fought SCARED once he felt canelo's power.

Crawford nearly lost to Madrimov but Madrimov's style is nothing like Canelos, hes very mobile very fast feet.

Canelo has lead feet, he hasnt stopped anyone in his last 7 fights. Hes really slowing down, these are all guys he would have stopped a few years ago.

That is true that they don't fight nothing alike but the one thing was that the size did affect Crawford and when he felt some punches his approach was cautious until the other tired.

Yes absolutely! Not only does it look like Canelo's feet have slowed significantly it looks like his IQ is shot as well lol - trying to cut off the ring without throwing jabs etc. I'd also say at this point Crawford has the quicker hands than ginger so in exchanges it'll be his shots getting in first. I think Crawford can definitely hurt Canelo but I see him winning a comfortable unanimous decision unless they rob him and call it a draw.

He always had to work hard for his power, by putting everything into a punch. It isn't like a Beterbiev were it comes natural and who keeps his power when getting older.
                    Power= force x velocity and Force=power x acceleration.
Both velocity and acceleration have dropped.
Canelo's power is a myth. There is definitely an agenda where certain parties want to portray Canelo as being a power puncher but the fact of the matter is he loads up on his "power shots", it's not a natural power or a technical power. when he doesn't load up, the damage received from his shots is minimal. Some of the shots Canelo was throwing against Bivol in rounds 11 and 12 had virtually nothing on them and were akin to arm punches.

the way canelo avoided benny like the plague and made so many sissy excuses could be telling, i would like to think that bud may be able to elevate his performance higher than say a berlanga level, canelo has been feeding on over matched guys for quite a while now, i think the next good guy he fights will beat him, is bud that guy im thinking probably not as canelo still should have enough thud on his shots to keep him honest, we shall see, if bud is mobile, takes canelos shots pretty well and throws a lot of punches he could do it
