Comments Thread For: Frazer Clarke prepares to make the long and lonely walk of the fighter stopped in round one

Lose a fight in round one and it is entirely possible that you return to the changing room dry, not to mention humiliated, and want only to lock the door behind you. Of all the ways to lose a fight, and there are many, this is arguably the worst, despite the brevity of it all suggesting just a small amount of pain.?

Badou jack was wiped out in a round early in his career and ended up a 3 weight world champion.. Amir khan got wiped out in a round by briedis prescott and became a unified world champion.. Jorge Linares lost his world title in a round but then went on to lightweight and had a great run winning another two world titles and becoming number 1 in the division..guys can come back from it but it's all about the mindset guys have to be able to dust themselves off and tell themselves it was just one of them things, but obviously it can haunt fighters aswell and they never recover from it and Clarke's was a bad knockout loss his head was literally dented from it and it was a scary knockout. Plus he's like 33 turned over pro late and tbh I just don't think he's past domestic level but I thought that before bad loss to Clarke in the rematch so I just just don't see him getting past a certain level and probably will lose again when he takes a bigger step up, like I wouldn't fancy him against the likes of David Adelye or Moses Itauma.

There was a reason John Ruiz never gave Tua a rematch when he was champion. Maskaev & Ruiz won world titles at HW after getting destroyed in a round...
