Comments Thread For: As Daniel Dubois closes in on rematch with Oleksandr Usyk what does that mean for Joseph Parker and the rest of the contenders?

The boxing world awaits the next move of heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk and with Daniel Dubois at the front of the queue, where does that leave Joseph Parker, Agit Kabayel and co? Whatever happens, Frank Warren?s Queensberry Promotions and their ever-expanding army of heavyweights are on the brink of a complete takeover.

Seems pretty obvious - Parker vs Kabayel with the winner to fight either Usyk or DuBois depending on the outcome.

Good on Warren for staging the fight on his own in the UK. Riyadh Season Shmeason.

I hate this fight. Dubois deserves another shot even less than Fury deserves a third shot. No reason for it. Usyk dominated him the first time, and the only reason he is getting another shot is because some people don’t understand what a low blow is.

When we are talking about the other Heavyweight fighters 'We are really talking about Joseph Parker and Anthony Joshua still astonishingly. Because between Oleksandr Uysk, Daniel Dubois, Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker. The next moves which those four Heavyweight fighters make, is going to have a domino type effect on the Heavyweight Division. Their moves are going to have a catalytic effect on the Heavyweight Division'.

Fighters are still watching what Anthony Joshua does next 'Because outside of a title fight, he is the most appealing and lucrative fight for the entire Heavyweight Division. No matter where a fight against Anthony Joshua takes place, they are going to make good business. And if they can potentially win the fight, this will greatly improve their resumes'.

And then we have Joseph Parker 'I think many fighters observe Parker, and think he is a very beatable fighter. For many years he seemed to just tread water, and not really produce any spectacular performances. And although he is a complete fighter, Parker has not real attributes which have the ability to dominate his opponents at top level. Parker does not have the skill level, brute strength or power of Anthony Joshua'.

But the reason why many fighters would want to fight Joseph Parker 'Is because of his high ranking in the Heavyweight Division. There is only one win that can propel a contender immediately towards a title fight. And that fight is against Joseph Parker, due to his recent from and big wins against Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang'.

If Oleksandr Uysk chooses to fight Daniel Dubois II next 'Then I think Joseph Parker may potentially fight Anthony Joshua for the second time. The fight makes sense for both fighters, as? It gives the opportunity for Parker to avenge a loss to Joshua I. And it gives Anthony Joshua an opportunity to regain serious momentum back in his career, with a potential win vs Joseph Parker II'.

Fighters such as Martin Bakole, Efe Ajagba, Agit Kabayel 'The facts are? Those Heavyweight fighters have been around in the game for many years. They don't have the position in the game, or prestige on their resumes to dictate moves towards Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker'.

Note: So Agit Kabayel is on a good run of form 'Good for him, but so what? Where has he been for the past decade? Agit Kabayel turned professional in 2011, let's not all sit here and try and make out fighters like Martin Bakole and Agit Kabayel are rookie fighters. They have been around for many years, all while Anthony Joshua was one of the premier Heavyweight Champions'.

Where was Agit Kabayel and Martin Bakole when Anthony Joshua beat Wladimir Kiltschko in the greatest Heavyweight title fight of the past 25 years? Where were they when he became the Two Time World Heavyweight Champion? They were not elite level fighters, during the Heavyweight reigns of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder the Three Heavyweight Mountains of this era'.

To conclude: So, when we talk about the other main Heavyweight fighters 'We are talking about Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker still in 2025. Fighters like Agit Kabayel, have not achieved feats in the sport, that gives them a position in the game to start dictating moves towards other Top level Heavyweight fighters'.

Anthony Joshua is a major Celestial Body in the Heavyweight Division 'His behaviour, actions and moves are going to have a effect in the Heavyweight Division to a greater extent to all the other Heavyweight fighters below the Heavyweight Champions'.

The two fighters outside of Oleksandr Uysk and Daniel Dubois 'Who's next moves are going to have a catalytic effect in the game. Are Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker, and I think fighters like Martin Bakole, Efe Ajagba, and Agit Kabayel are just solid contenders waiting around for a big opportunity' etc.

I'm sure Turki with Ring or Riyadh Season will add their name to it

                    "Only reason"

No the reason is because he went on a good run of wins inc vs Hrgovic and AJ and became champ.

Before AJ got beat up there will people online even claiming AJ Usyk trilogy should happen. If Hrgovic vs AJ happened for vacant IBF no one would be saying anything about the winner fighting Usyk for undisputed but cause its Dubois people have a problem. Dubois didn't talk much and was hated for dead personality he has started being more outspoken jumping in the ring etc and self promoting more and haters still want to hate
