    There is noway Duran beats Hearns at that weight and age. At 147 when he was in his 20s maybe.

      The "triangular theory" doesn't always work in boxing and this is one of those times.

      Hearns is too long, too powerful, and too good of a boxer for Duran to be able to do anything with him.

      Barkley had the size and strength to do something with Hearns.

      Remember, Barkley fought all the way up to heavyweight.

        Well, he was very arrogant coming off his close loss to Hagler. Hagler was destroying everyone up to that point. Duran nearly beat him. Hearns being smaller than Hagler by weight class, and knowing Durans training habits - I personally would believe it. Duran figured himself invincible and SRL had already beaten Hearns prior.
