I like Moorer, but Mercer was an absolute beast, who I think would stop him.

I liked Michael Moorer too, but I do not seeing him lasting with a prime Ray Mercer. Though you never know. Larry Holmes took a prime Ray Mercer to a decision, so IDK.

Mercer's only problem was laziness. He took it too well and beats Moorer anyway.

Moorer was actually an incredible fighter according to accounts from his peers at the Krong gym. He also put together a few victories where he showed his chops. I think of him as knocking on the door as an excellent light heavy and this includes stepping up to heavyweight and beating holyfield.

Problem with him he had a certain limit and then he would kind of crack lol. I think Mercer is perfectly designed to exploit that limit lol.
