Slavin, Ruhlin, Root, Goddard
No Sharkey, Choynski, Childs, Maher, etc. because I wanted to give lesser subjects some limelight and even though those guys are non-champs they're hardly less often talked about.
To be clear the era is late 1890s or early 1900s, whatever date you prefer if you need an exact date.
Open to suggestions.
As far as I know the only match up between these men are two contests between Ruhlin and Goddard. One of which is a newspaper victory for Ruhlin that is also disputed as a newspaper draw. The other is a DQ win for Ruhlin.
Maybe some fun and/or interesting dialog will come of this. If not, The Hawk tried, brother.
