Yes you are correct short fighter don't throw this punch vs. much taller opponents!

Some taller fights work the body. Working the body is key, especially when facing a faster fighter as is slows them down.

You do not honor the bet I offered, so end that talk now.

You may PM me. I do not think you have experience at heavyweight ( do you? ) , so this conversations is like talking sex with a ******.

A 6'6" fighter with a greater reach has many advantages and doesn't have to commit to a body attack, giving the shorter man a chance to land. If the taller man is also mobile he can " zone " the shorter man keeping the fighter at a range where he cant hit and the other fighter can not. This is a reason why the 6 foot and under fighters are out in the modern heavyweight division and even good infighters like James Toney did not do much at heavyweight , and when Toney did it vs non- super heavies.
The problem is modern skilled heavyweights aren't really all that skilled. Louis destroyed Carnera, and Primo's stay looks very, very similar to Vits. Dempsey destroyed Willard. Who to say Willard wasn't tougher than any heavyweight today? Toney lost a split decision that could be argued a draw against Peter and Drew with Rahman. Byrd made Vitaly quit. Adamek beat Grant and McBride. The lists go on and on really. The only come back you have is modern fighters are more skilled. And yet you cannot say how they are more skilled. Is it their ability to go to the body? Their indomitable will to win? Maybe it's their amazing footwork. Could it be their incredible combination punched? Their ability to slip and parry punches? What exactly is it that sets these men apart besides size?

And yes, you still lack integrity. We all know how the bet went and how you tried changing it up.
    Ivich Ivich likes this.

Infighting in general seems to be a lost art.

      Just watch Roberto Duran, man.

Now, that man knew how to infight.

As for modern fighters, to don't learn out to grapple and wrestle inside.

Terence Crawford is one of the only ones. I saw he was a wrestler in high-school, so it makes sense that he'd understand positioning.

I wonder if athleticism has made in-fighting too difficult to affect.

Do today's fighters move in and out better making it more difficult to force a fight close in?

Or is it that clinching is so common that the tactic has had its effectiveness negated?

Do NBA players physically jump higher than 1970s stars?

You told the forum on Classic that you had sparred but never had a boxing match,so stop this "at heavyweight " qualification BS
You also told me that you were 6 ft 4in tall and hit a ton when you challenged me to a fight when you visited the UK.You were 34 I was 65,I accepted your challenge and asked you for your flight details.I live about an hour from both Gatwick and Heathrow,
A liar needs a good memory!
Despite 3 public messages one of which was headed FTA OF MENDOZA, and 3 private ones on Classic you did not respond to my enquiries, though you posted on other threads.
In fact you did not address the situation until you were safely back in the US,when in answer to my question why you did not reply and tell me your flight details so I could be at the airport and we could get the fight sorted, a fight I was looking forward to as I hate liars , your excuse for slipping out of the UK without making contact, even though you posted on other threads on Classic, was and I quote you here,"who wants trouble at an airport?"
When I visited NY a few years ago I notified you when I would be there and where I would be staying The Millennial Hotel Upper 44th St,just off Times Sq . I told you I would be in Jimmy's Bar opposite every evening if you wanted to take your challenge to its conclusion.

In spite of the fact that you initiated the challenge to a fight , you said it was too far away to travel.
                In conclusion
You are a coward, a liar, and a bet welching POS ,May You Rot In Hell.

Okay, Good to know that. You're are not a bad guy. What do you think Dallas will do in the draft? I think it time to dump Dak and re-load.

Maybe I should ignore Ivich, he lies about me, tells incorrect facts, used double standards all of the time, and has been banned multiple times under different names. He says I should rot in hell. I don't believe in that by the way. He can rot for all I care, and being that he's old I would not spend my final days arguing back and forth on the internet.
