Sorry if it's an old topic or gets discussed often, but who would you guys pick to win this one? Both prime of course.

Holyfield would win early or late rounds. Holyfield is one of the few fighters that can pride himself in having superior conditioning. Holyfield has an Iron chin, his power is severely underated as well as his speed.

He has power (arguably), speed a better chin and possibly even a better workrate..over Joe Frazier.

I see ether a round 10 ko or a UD for Holyfield.

Frazier pounds him to the body early and then comes on late after holyfield tires from the body attack Frazier put on him Wins buy late rounds TKO(13-15) or buy UD Holy never went father than 12 rounds so we douth know how he would handel the 3 extra rounds

Holyfield was faster and had a higher workrate. Frazier had more power but Holyfield had a great chin. I say Holyfield by a close UD.

I'm gonna go with Evander Holyfield in a great fight, he's already fought similar styles like Tyson, he would do good.

Could honestly go either way. The Frazier of 71' who fought Ali would be tough for anyone to beat and I think that version I'd favour over Holyfield. Other versions of Frazier I'd expect to go in Holy's way if they fought.
But the FOTC Frazier would be like fighting a man possessed.

** Prime is problematic with Holy, and then with or without steroids?

69-71 Frazier walks right through any version of the juiced Holy like marshmallow taffy.

              Terrible style match for Holy.

I would favor Evander by close and i repeat close decision. He had the tools and ability to out hustle and out brawl Frazier. It aslo seems to me that Joe had problems with short distance punchers. Bonevena and Quarry both were able to have their moments becuase of it against Frazier and you could make a case for Frazier lossing the first fight against Bonevena. It would be the fight of the century.

I slightly lean toward Frazier because he's relentless. I don't think Holyfield would have the power to just blow Frazier out of there like Foreman did. I also think Holyfield gets hit a little too much to stand in there for the whole 15 rounds.

Holyfield has a better chin? Since when? The only man to actually stop Frazier was a prime George Foreman and the only other man who knocked him down i believe was Oscar Bonavena. Holyfield was knocked down by Cooper, He was hurt by Stewart and even that bum John Ruiz was able to knock him down. Frazier had a better chin and he had more power. Holyfield was faster but that is all he had on Frazier but does that mean Frazier would win? Nope and to be honest i couldn't even began to try to figure out who would win this fight i just know it would be a good fight.
