    where do you rate ice cube all time?

    i saw him getting praise at the bet hip hop awards. and i was thinking he has accomplished alot, not quite sure where to put him though.

      His later work doesnt add up to make him top five, in his early career he was an ABSOLUTE MONSTER who had the tenacity and lyrical ability to even take on Rakim and Big Daddy Kane in a battle.

      His later work tho wasnt the same some albums werent really good, some were pretty good and some were so so in my opinion.

      When you go from broke to having platinum and gold albums to cult classic movies to number one movies, I cant blame a guy for losing his hunger a bit, it would happen to all of us

        i thought his last 2 albums were real good...i personally think the argument can be made for him as top 5 all time, even though i wouldnt put him quite that high

          Ice Cube is definitely up there.. Along with the NWA tracks.. and definitely Today Was A Good Day... Instant CLASSIC.

            Pretty much what you said. I enjoyed his last two albums. he still saying a lot more than most aritsts out right now.

            He's in my top 5 of favorites probably maybe 6. All time he should be up there too. He's definitely in the top 15. Some people just can't get down to that west coast style and I understand. But they should respect him for what he's done.

                it'd be Cube.


                Part of a legendary group in NWA, branched off as a solo artist to become even bigger while at the same time basically destroying his former group. Formed another high quality group, and is still dropping heat. Doesn't stick to one particular topic but rather a wide range of topics covering damn near everything. Did I mention longevity in a supposed "young mans game"?
