[HOLY S**T!] The American XL Bully - 75kg of muscle..... but not aggressive?

Holy shiat! I think this might be the toughest looking dog I have ever seen!

I am gona get one of these beasts in the future..... maybe when my current one dies in 8/9 years.

They are not the same as the banned American Pitbull and seem to be much less aggressive and good pets.

Cool dogs but to be fair the pit bull is a great dog too. It’s just the kind of idiots that turn these animals into aggressive monsters that’s the problem.

They are good lazy companion dogs. They are American Bullies.

I agree 100% my man........... any breed or dog is only as good as the owner, or how much time and effort they put into training it.

Certain breeds are more susceptible to bad behaviours though..... the XL bully's are bread to be less aggressive (only letting the calm and trainable ones mate).

My other dog (in my avi) was a "Classic" American Bully..."Classic'' meaning the original version (she was 62 lbs). She was a bit dog aggressive but nothing that couldn't be mitigated once you learned how to read her...very good with people but knew who was sketchy (ie: street people which are somewhat abundant here) and would keep them on notice. She could never get off-leash time except at the beach where she could not be distracted by anything because she would fixate on swimming. She could swim for an hour straight without getting out of the water.

My new pup is an Amstaff and loves everyone including all animals. She has no aggression at all and could probably use a little at least. I can walk her off leash and even with people who might get a little scared she just looks at them and wags her tail and wins them over in second and then they go "you're soooo cute" and it turns into a love fest.

Any dog you raise properly will not be overly aggressive. All dogs are always going to have that ability in them to defend themselves and their territory though so it's a two part thing.

                  1. Raise them properly

                  2. Be strong enough to reign them in if needed

Do that and you can have any dog you want.

Your dug (yes that is how I would say dog) is beautiful......... what a specimen!

My one is small, 9kg's, so I have to be protective..... constantly on the lookout for big dogs that can wreck her.
