Not to be a **** but this is actually kind of a good thread. Is that a floating floor? Locking edges? I've always enjoyed doing flooring even if my knees paid for it later.

It is floating, it's Interlocking but it's not very easy. Had to use a hammer and pull bar. Plus I always have to be different so I did the 45 degree layout. That was a lot harder but seeing it done in my opinion it was worth the extra work.

Yeah the knees are still hurting but I laid a ton of floor. I think so far I have 1600sq ft done.

That 45 degree angle looks good.

Thanks, the wife didn't think she would like it but now she loves it.

The flooring itself is nice. It's has grain you can even feel and knots in the wood. It also has a dovetail on the edges. It gives it a nice look in the sun.

Have one for years. It does a good job, it goes from the bare floor to over rugs. If there is a staircase it won't fall.

The only thing that robot don't like is cables. If it finds a spot that is very dirty it stays in that spot until it is done. When the charge is down it goes back and once charged it comes out again to finish.

45 degrees you do a lot of cutting but the look is worth it. I like to use a piece of the floor to interlock it and use that one with the pull bar. That way you don't damage or chip the one you are trying to get in place.
