It's banned or restricted in most EU countries due to potential for fraud.

Oh I get that. Not sure exactly how elections work in Europe, but I feel that as de-centralized as we are here that it makes fraud, at least on a large scale, next to impossible. That is of course when you have the infrastructure in place. Which many of these states clearly didn't. I said this earlier, but if any shenanigans are happening or not, I don't know, but it certainly looks suspect and if the shoe was on the other foot, ********s would be crying as well, and with good reason.
