You’re right. The party will have to take Trumps lead on policy and carry it forward. Good thing is the minority vote is warming up to the **********s and that’s the future.

Honestly it's not that big of a deal to me...I put in my vote, but life goes on, and regardless of who has ever been in office my life has for all intents & purposes remained pretty much the same. And it's not like I'm some big conservative or Trump guy -- I really don't like either party and Trump himself is obviously a very flawed candidate/individual who did himself no favors along the way.

And on the bright side the guy is such a polarizing lightning rod that no doubt was the fuel, fair nor not (sometimes it was and sometimes it wasn't), to so many of the fires this country has faced in recent memory...that maybe things will settle down and even out a little bit going forward so we can move past all of this vitriol between each other in this country. That would be my hope now anyway.

At the end of the day its not that big of a deal. And change is always good.

After the ***** era America voted for change and got it in a big way. And after 4 years they are ready for change again.

Plus ***** has said all along that he is only in this for one term so in four years we will have change again.

America changing and adapting is what makes our country great. The founding fathers built this country to have constant change and not just have one way of thinking or one way of power at all times. Its about having balance. Our country would be ***d if every branch of government was all ********** or all ********ic. Its about balance. And if you look at how our country has been governed aver the hundreds of years we have been around and what we have voted on, consciously or unconsciously, balance is always voted on.

I'm Team R, and i was a bit upset this morning, i like Trump, but what can ya do? There's no point in crying about it.

You win and you lose, it is what it is.

**********s got to get back the drawing board and work out how to win next time.

Honestly I feel like Team D needs to get back to the drawing board more than Team R despite the likely outcome the election will have.

This election for Team D gots the same feel as if Haney wins a decision over Gamboa. The expectation was higher than the performance so it's kinda a moral L for Team D.

Actually I was looking past the election and speaking to the large political divide in America that isn't going away. If Trump loses I'm sure he'll not accept his defeat as legitimate (and it may not be, who knows for sure?). However once all the current hoop-de-La ends the great divide remains.

No doubt.

I'm curious what the next 4yrs look like with ***** winning officially at some point & this insanely wide gap between how folks think in the US.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see some states try to break off on their own in whatever way they can.
