As for the topic.
Death is the easy way out, but since torture isn't legal, then yes kill them all.

Much better to end them and fund a programme for the victims with the savings.

You can drive in any direction for 2 hours and it's mostly nature, I thought it was a beautiful area but I think you must be talking about the town specifically? Was a great holiday and cheap as **** as well, due to having a place to stay free of charge

Though to be fair the town I live in is a shithole too and was voted worst place in Canada to live one year lol. Mainly because it is economically dead and full of criminal scum and a high rate of poverty. But it's got a lot of beautiful scenery here as well, even though it's mainly just a stopping point now for tourists to get cheap food, booze, weed and gas on their way to the truly beautiful parts on the very west coast of the island like Tofino.
Lots of people go out there to learn how to surf, or just enjoy the beaches and forests. If you grew up here, it's like a place you go after high school or some time in your 20s to really live that relaxed island life style. Tons of crazy hippie shit out there haha. It's really overpriced though due to tourist trap type stuff and just how remote it is making it difficult to get anything out there. Even just basic food from the grocery store out there is so expensive.
I lived in a remote town about 30 minutes away from there and the storms in the fall and winter were crazy. I used to go out to the big rocky beaches and watch the huge waves crash against the rocks. Staring out into the foggy endless Pacific Ocean. I really miss it out there now thinking back. Making me all emotional heh...
Sorry. Got carried away as usual but thought you might find it interesting.

Yeah, there are a lot of towns in North America that seem to go bust when industry moves out..... the place is so vast that nothing is ever permanent, and people can migrate to where the jobs are...... there are loads of little towns in the US like that, just houses abandoned and reclaimed by nature, feral dogs running around lol
I had to Google where Tofino was...... that's right on the border with the US so can imagine there is a lot of tourists going to that island.
Hahaha I have the same thing but just looking out into the North Sea..... I enjoy living on the coast, rather than being landlocked. There is just something about the sea I enjoy???
I have a small beach about 10 minutes away where I go every day with the dog pretty much..... I would just pack my bag with lunch for myself and sit with the dog looking out into the sea...... talk with the local fisherman and take the ***** for a swim

Yeah I was going to say, it's not as if you're short for beautiful scenery out there. Bloody lovely man.
Yep this is an old mill and fishing town basically. Both industries on a massive decline due to the raping and pillaging of resources.
I'm not sure where you were looking though because it's not really right on the border unless windy 3 hour drive plus a 2 hour ferry boat ride is considered close. I don't travel much so maybe that isn't far for people who commute a lot, but the road out to the west coast in particular is pretty miserable and sketchy.
This lighthouse was like 10 minutes away from me in Ucluelet
To get back to the topic at hand my town is full of various goofs and diddlers that need to be strung up in a dank alley. It's so cheap to live here and a lot of social programs so they just dump trash here by the barrel full. I really need to get my family the fuck out of here.
