These things aren't just banned on a whim, they have teams of fact checkers that research the claims and find clear evidence that they are lies or misleading before they are taken down.

I actually think they should leave them up with a big this is false in the title nd a warning before u watch which comes up every few minutes stating its false and have links to debunking info.

Taking them down just gives the conspiracy morons more fuel for their BS.

Because the virus is top priority and the most talked about health issue right now around the world. Because the video is actually a promo for the interviewer who just wrote a book and for Dr. Bull**** who has one in print. The video is filled with inaccuracies in the science she quotes mixed in with outright lies. Her book did very well on Amazon. There is money in lying I guess. The two got together to promo his book and revitalize the sales of her book and hatched this little video. The hysteria over Covid 19 was the perfect catalyst to draw attention to their books. She is a disgusting piece of white trash that should be charged with fraud he's no better. Stop whining and grow up.

Why did YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Forbes, and the Washington Post feel the need to assign teams of fact checkers to this one particular video?

I don't know what the mechanism is as to how a video gets checked. I would guess people report it and if its worth looking into they do it.

This isn't the only video that has been banned there was one a few weeks ago claiming Bill Gates or his "people" tested a vaccine on 7 kids in Senegal who all dropped dead instantly which was banned after a coupe of days as were memes about it on fb.

I understand what you are saying and I'm not for censorship but I'm also not into forcing people or companies to be associated with views they think are dangerous and misleading. YouTube Facebook etc. are private companies. They are entertainment companies not journalists. They can control what is on their website. Like it or not. She still has access to the public. Links to her video have been published on this forum. This isn't government censorship this is a private company. Private companies do this type of thing all the time. This forum has a code of conduct. Restaurants, shopping malls, schools, places of worship etc. etc. Facebook and YouTube have a code of conduct. They are claiming her video is in violation so they are exercising their right to take it down. Just because someone or a group of people own a business doesn't mean they give up their rights.

The man is 110% correct. YouTube is not a public forum, neither is Facebook, neither is Boxingscene, or virtually, any social media outlet.

We are playing in someone else's yard; and they have the right to kick us out at any time and tell us to go home for whatever reason they choose....just or unjust, in our eyes.

If you can kick some unruly kids out of your yard...so can they. They have no real civic responsibility...they can refuse service, if they so choose.

Most miss this, I think. We have "Freedom of Speech"; but they have the Freedoms to Shut us the hell up, if they think we're yelling "Fire" in their theatre....and boot us, if we don't comply.

As I stated, they have no real civic responsibility. If they chose, they could spread lies, as well, they could share information that promoted the private interests of some of their board members.
