Honestly, because the public, at large, are no longer emotionally effected by such footage.....at least not in the context shown in the vids. If they thought, for a second, that the public would actually "react" as opposed to basically ignoring it, they would never have released it. We have, by and large, learned to ignore any news concerning UFO's, thanks to years upon years of such sightings being downplayed by both the government and the media.
Glad to see this move. As chollo vista said, all we need is an alien. Hopefully he can throw hands and get in the ring!
I mean, it could be anybody flying that Unidentified Flying Object. What heightens my curiosity is why didn't the pilot shoot it down?
You have to have "clearance" before you can fly in U.S. air space if I'm not mistaken?
That could've been a Russian spy plane for all we know so why didn't they shoot it down? My guess is either they were told not to shoot it down or they knew who it was. Either of those answers tells me, the person or thing flying that object has already been identified which makes it not an unidentified flying object.
Lastly, I await the day when the UFO suffers from engine failure making the "pilot" eject out the canopy. When they get that on film, now we're talking. At this point, all I know is that could be Dr. Claw behind the controllers.
We know he, she or "it" is there, we just never see the face LMAO

The only thing is there are maneuvers this things do, which would kill a human pilot due to pure G-force. Plus, no known technology would allow our current aircraft to be able to withstand the G's themselves....they would fall apart, presuming we had a propulsion system which could pull of those maneuvers.
One of the accounts the government has released to which they have not released any footage, if any exists, is one from 2005, where a Navy pilot saw the ocean boil and from the water emerged one of these UFO's...and then flew off at a speed he couldn't follow.
There are only two logical explanation, using that info. Either they are drones with previously unreleased tech, which is far, FAR more advanced than anything we've ever seen before. Or they have also developed a way to shield human pilots from having their internal organs crushed from such maneuvers.

....and then there's the third option:
Bob Lazaar was telling the truth back in 1989.
All those theories could very well be true.
Here's what I know based off history. When it comes to classified U.S. technology, it's normally not declassified until 40 years or so after the fact.
For instance, GPS was old Army technology used in the Korean war or Vietnam if I'm not mistaken (off top of My head). GPS wasn't introduced to the public until early 2000's.
Point is, the technology we're just seeing today has been invented since the 70's or so.
I remember doing a paper on cloaking. The cloaking technology has been around since what 70's or 80's? It still hasn't been officially introduced to mainstream public.
What we see flying those aircrafts very well could be aliens. I'm not denying that. But I think they're "identified" already. If they weren't, the pilots would've shot them down long ago as nothing is allowed in US airspace without being identified. One of the first tenets of air power is air superiority.
But yeah, when I see whatever's flying that object eject itself from the canopy, then you'll catch my interest.
As of now, I have many theories on what those objects could be. One is classified technology that's 40 years before being introduced to society.
No one knew stealth technology existed until it was time to use it.

Definitely need NORAD to approve your flight plan.
Also, skunk works is making all kinds of new vehicles, capable of amazing things.
