Atheists suddenly doesn't like Jordan Peterson after seeing he is a deeply Christian

All these mofo's are funny, they are now suddenly jumping off board after knowing that he is deeply Christian. They only follow a guy when it suites them. Kept asking questions "Why do great minds like Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson still follow delusions like religion?"

If great minds still are following religion, then maybe YOU have a problem and not them.

In fairness the least rational thing about Peterson & some of these very rational, logical & thoughtful cats IS their belief in a specific religion.

But as he says in that video you just posted he's not arguing about god he's arguing about deeper sh^t.

Sure there is good or bad, but its about the good or bad in our lives, in our family & loved ones lives & in our great community lives that can include ones neighborhood, ones city, ones country & ultimately ones planet or f#ck universe if we discover aliens someday. So morality is a thing, but it ain't got f#ck all to do with anyones god. Its been ingrained in us over thousands & thousands of years of f#cking up & hurting our lives, our families & our communities by killing mfers for ****** reasons or stealing from others & other sh^t along those lines.

I don't think thats an argument for or against god cuz I think thats an unwinnable argument for both sides cuz its a complicated argument with deep rabbit holes to go down, but more to the point I think even if there is a god its unlikely to be one promoted & manipulated so well by humans as Christianity has.

Interesting video. Ah, man. Crime and Punishment. That is such a deep book. So many angles on morality and the concept of the greater good and by any means necessary and just how evil those concepts can be. Dostoevsky was as deep as they come.

I think for many atheists, there's like a fanboy type mentality, hopping from one leader or inspiration to the next and well, just like we see in boxing when a fighter loses his 0, they jump ship. Only in these cases, once the great hero shows a vast disagreement, they now must say he's either a loon or that he gets somethings but he's wasted on religion, etc. For many of them, no intelligent figure can believe in God. And of course, without God in their lives, they must seek out someone or something bigger than themselves which would have to be a man ultimately since they believe no God exists. Of course the problem they run into is that every man is flawed and will let them down at some point. It can't be helped. This is what happened here as well. I haven't heard of this guy until recently but I enjoyed him stumping the SJW and I enjoyed this video as well. I will keep an eye on him, while still praying to God at night and taking any kind of burden off of him to be a god for me. He's a wise man and nothing more. And that's fine with me.

Whether the world is better atheist or with religion is irrelevant.

What matters is the truth and the facts.

              I don't care if he's a Christian.

He still makes a lot of good points, and is right when he's right.

He's wrong about God, and religion, IMO, butI don't care - that's his personal choice to make.

I don't get on board with a lot of his psychological stuff either - although I'm sure some of it is correct - I just thought he made a good point about free speech, and how dangerous it is to infringe on it by enforcing "pronouns" or whatever.

He is a Nietzschean. He believes that even if God isn't real, the human species will simply go mad without religion as a means of passing down moral empiricism and existential purpose. He also holds the bible in high esteem as a moral manual containing wisdom gathered from centuries of human experimentation.

This is a very common perspective among evolutionary psychologists & sociobiologists.

I stopped calling myself an atheist years ago for the simple reason that it's come to mean "anti-Biblism". It's become entwined with radical leftist politics and teenage angst. They adopt self-destructive behaviors specifically to unlearn lessons taught by religion, even if those lessons are scientifically sound.

So powerful is their spite for something they don't even believe exists that they literally ruin their own lives and countries just to show it who's boss...
