EU is not imposing any countermeasures for now and says they are ready to negotiate. All the retaliation responses are kept in the back-pocket for now.
That's how I understand the live-pressconference on the live link i posted above.
It's also about all the markets bleeding now. Since the EU has done nothing, it gets magnified that this massive loss of world wealth is solely the responsibility of Trump. This is my personal take.
