Many Mexicans are conservative, Catholic and family oriented. They aren't going in for this woke nonsense, and a lot of them don't support the waves of illegals crossing the borders. I'm not sure "most" Mexicans support Trump in SoCal, but I'm guessing a good many of them have shifted their support his way in the last two years.

I can confirm that the OP is stating a true statement. In 2019 while visiting LSC's hometown (Rosemead, CA) I was shocked to find MAGA and Trump flags flying in front yards along with people sporting Trump hats and t-shirts and the whole nine. Not the red ones though just the blue merchandise which was weird but then I thought well maybe they're all my Sureno affiliated who knows. I don't know man the whole situation was just odd to me. But yeah lots of bald headed ****ie wearing Chicano Trumpeters down there.
