    [REAL TALK] Boxing's all-time biggest boring bastards?

    I don't mean inside the ring, in terms of boxing. Forget that.

    I'm talking personality wise.


    It's just that you'll think I'm biased (bias, Fat Yanks) but I reckon Daniel Dubois might take the all-time crown.


    I don't like to say anything in bad taste, you know I don't. But I reckon the other week at least part of Ray Mancini was wishing he was in the Duk Koo Kim fight, rather than having to stand in the ring trying to get the daft cunt to say something halfway interesting.


    I appreciate that Dubois just won a "world" title in a local leisure centre* in front of an audience of 20 people, but fuck me, that guy could bore for the world, couldn't he? What a boring cunt.

        Yeah, I read your thread after I posted it. I stand by my statement though lol.


        Personality wise, Anthony Joshua just seems to be allergic to saying the right thing, and Devin Haney is just ****ing weird and awkward. As for boring....I'm sure I'm forgetting someone but I'll throw AJ down again lol

          AJ's not the most interesting of guys, for sure, but at least he'll threaten students once in a while. Definitely more towards the "boring" end of the scale though, true.

            In terms of personality it's often difficult for foreign fighters to demonstrate any charisma or controversy while getting through language barriers. Beterbiev doesn't quite seem like the life of the party, nor does Bivol, Crawford, or Haney. Tank is borderline illiterate and sounds like he just learned how to speak. I always liked when Broner got in front of the mic, he knew how to sling it and work an interview. Naturally funny too.

              I think Dubois is -and I know this isn't PC anymore - a bit simple.

              Like if you were in a desert island survival situation with no food left then yeah he should be able to beat you death easily and eat you. But equally you should really be able to convince him to cook bits of himself for you both to share.
