GM: Ravens would pick QB in first round, depending on board
Marcus Spears, and others who want to appear to be hip, is all for this.
Saying how Indy will become an instant front runner for div titles.
How Lamar's ''athleticism'' would be a no brainer.
How he is still ''a baby'' in NFL QB years.
Ok
Yes, Lamar's mobility would make an otherwise ''laughable OL'' (according to Spears. I wouldn't know) seem functional.
And his ''presence'' alone would make other stars want to join Indy.
Increase the fan base.
All that good shlt.
Balt has 1 postseason win under Lamar's reign.
He has missed 10 games in the past 2 seasons.
Requires a bunch of weapons around him.
Not going to scare anyone with his arm.
One more injury and his running won't matter.
So much talk about ''athletic/mobile'' QBs
Rodgers, 1 title
Young, 3 (1 as the starter)
Brees (?), 1
The old comparison was Dak vs Wentz. I always felt Dak was the better guy. Now look at the two. Wentz probably isn't even a starter in the league anymore. Dak is still playing even if he chokes when it matters.
Brees wasn't all that mobile tbf. But they are all true QBs also.
I wonder why the Ravens and Cardinals don't swap QBs? May as well. One difficult guy for the next with similar styles of 'run-first' play.
True
Brees was more of a scrambler than a ''runner''
I forgot to mention Elway.
I think anyone but Balt dealing with Lamar is costly.
No one is going to give up 2 1st rd 'ers.
If that can be worked out, Lamar will find a new home in a minute.
I smh when ''experts'' drool over QB's who run.
I'm not expecting much from Fields with his game being run 1st.
I agree if he goes down with injury. If it goes like Cleveland, it doesn't really matter. He'd be able to get 3 more seasons out of his career as a rent-a-receiver for the Niners, Jax, etc.
OBJ to Baltimore is interesting however. Needs to stay healthy though

He's no Brandin Cooks.
Seems like he's traded every year and every year he puts up good numbers.
If he flops in Balt, being injured might work in his favor.
He can claim he still ''has it'' but was unfortunate (if his injury wasn't that severe)
If he flops and was healthy, it most likely ends his ride.
As it is, a team finally threw him a tiny bone.
I'm actually shocked he settled for one this sad.
Shows that he's willing to prove his worth.
