Parfum collecting is actually something I do a lot of. I have 100's of bottles with pricing ranging from $100-$1,500 a bottle. I used to be a designer fragrance user/collector (think Gucci, Prada, Dior, etc). Now I am strictly a niche wearer. Niche basically means that the vendor is strictly a cologne/perfume maker and does not offer any other things for sale. I wear something different everyday. The weather and time of year dictates what I wear on a daily basis. Spring/Summer you want to focus on citrus, fruity scent. Fall/Winter you should focus on ****y, woody scents. Believe it or not, the temperatures will also effect how long your cologne lasts. Most accords (ingredients) perform best when worn in accordance with weather. Anyway, long story short. Its 84 degrees and sunny here today. I went with a brand named Roja Dove. The particular scent is named Elysium.

JPG Le Male is very nice for a designer frag, a little too powdery for my taste. The original formulation of La Male is near impossible to find and is considered to be one the designer GOATS. It's definitely a chick magnet and will get you tons of compliments.

Sample are the way to go if you’re not sure you’ll like something. A lot of vendors will sell a 2ml sample on their websites. However the best way to go about getting samples is from FB groups. People sell sample sizes called decants so others can experience the fragrance without having to buy a full bottle and get stuck with something they don’t like. If you ever have questions about how something smells or want so advice, shoot me a msg and I can steer you in the right direction.
