anyone going to the midnight release for HALO tonight??

i got my copy of halo 4 pre-ordered, but not sure if i should goto the midnight release in these freezing temperatures...

i never been to any type of midnight release event..anybody that has, can you tell me what its like?...is it just standing in line with strangers and getting to go home and play the game all night?

the one here had them playing the live series, you could play a demo of new gears of wars, they kept giving you red bulls etc, it was fun
