Aside from the obvious money-making ideas I think this is a pretty decent looking console despite it being of the poorest quality compared to its predecessors - only a thin piece of plastic covers the disc drive.

That said, Sony should have added features to encourage current PS3 owners to repurchase their latest unit such as re-adding backwards compatability for PS1 and PS2 games, etc.

i just snagged a 60gb on craigs for a 100 bucks. the owner only used it for movies..

change the thermal paste every other month and clean it......60gb ps3's are a timebomb....especially if they're used...

I still haz teh 60gb PS3. Hardly ever clean it, full of dust innit. It heats up me room quick. Had like 4 xbox 360s red ring in me house.
