[PLEASE HELP] Final Fantasy XIII-2

Anybody getting this? I'm in 2 minds, on one hand i am a big FF fan but on the other hand FF XIII ****** balls.

Read somewhere that they have made this one less linear but i just don't know. Can anybody persuade me to part with my hard earned cash?

Even though it isn't as graphically sharp as FFXIII, it is better as a game, with an updated battle system. The Demo was good, didn't you try it first? It's a good game in terms of story and gameplay but I wouldn't get it. Especially considering FFXIII-3 is coming and this one leaves you with no closure. You should preorder Mass Effect 3 and fully pay for it now instead.

I played the demo for a while and it does seem like a decent game, but to be honest after all the time i put into FFXIII this game feels like a bit of a chore. I don't know if i can be bothered to go through all that again. It's quite a long game.

Everything I've read says the story is terrible, just awful. The gameplay is better but it focuses on all the worst characters from 13.
