I thought they were fun games but they just felt cheap, like a bunch of white folks thought about what blacks would live like if they owned a city and put it in a game.

Saints Row never really took off as a big game. Yet we all loved GTA San Andreas because it had all sorts of ****** stuff to do. And most of us didn't like how GTA 4 was all about realism.

Saints Row had all the fun things that GTA 4 was missing, but nobody seemed to like it. I couldn't get into the game at all either.

I liked it a lot, but what you say is true: it was basically a GTA game that went in the opposite direction of GTA4 and provided a lot of things that people wanted GTA4 to have, yet it wasn't as popular as it should've been.

I think one weakness though is that SR2 was a lot shorter/smaller than GTA4. Or at least that's how I remember it, it's a while since I've played either game.

I thought the game was a big joke tbh. A poor man's GTA. It's garbage.
