Marvel vs. Capcom 3 First Details
The fighting series returns with a brand new look.
    by Charles Onyett

April 20, 2010 - Blizzard said it best when StarCraft II was announced, "Hell, it's about time."

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 may be 10 years old, but it's still popular incompetitive fighting circles. Fans have been requesting a new game in the franchise for ages, and after the fighting genre got a swift kick in the pants in 2009, Capcom is all set to deliver. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is finally officially announced.

The game is scheduled for a spring 2011 release date on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. Unlike the download-only Marvel vs. Capcom 2, this will be a disc-based title. In its current state of production there are around 30 combatants in the game including Wolverine, Iron Man, Hulk, Morrigan, Ryu, and newcomer Chris Redfield of Resident Evil fame.
    I fainted.

WTF? I love the Jazz tracks, and the "I'm gonna take you for a ride" song while you're picking characters. That's one fail if they remove the Jazz tracks.

It's about time they add Chris Redfield though. Damn, he's been around since the 90s and it took more than 15 years to add him. Even Jill Valentine has been a character in Marvel vs Capcom. Next should be Leon Kennedy.

Wow they even have Wesker there.

Every one's joining the party except for Leon and Ada.

Jill, Chris, and now Wesker have all been part of MVC.

Im a big fighting game fan but Im still on the fence about this and the new mortal kombat. Only reason is because of the dlc characters, and you know how most games do it. They get released, have a couple of dlc additions, then a goty or platinum hits come out and it has all the dlc included and its for 20-30 bucks.

When they finish with all the dlc characters for mvc3, the game might be well over 100 dollars....and another thing that I dont want is to get all this dlc this gen and it be rendered obsolete next gen (like how xbox1 service was).

well, can I assume that since I haven't seen him yet, Blade is not going to be in this? In which case, I'm not buying.
