    When I was younger, I would of said MK hands down. But now, SF all the fucking way.

      mortal kombat is great for fatality's n such.

      but overall gameplay I say street fighter still way ahead.

      and it really paved the way for tournament fighter type games. street fighter is a legendary title in gaming.

      I remember it was so huuuge in the arcades, then the moment I was able to save enough money as a kid to buy it when it came for snes it was just like the greatest thing ever.

                  I prefer the characters from MK, and it had far more varied moveset. Both legendary games, but i lean slightly to MK. Come on, Fatality is hard to top.

                    Fatality > KO
                    Street fighter gameplay > Mortal Kombat gameplay.
