The year is 2455. The Place is Old Earth. Once the shimmering blue ***el of the galaxy, Old Earth is now a contaminated planet abandoned for centuries. Yet humans have returned to the deadly place that they once fled. Not to live, but to research the ancient rusting artifacts of the bygone civilizations that caused this environmental disaster. And little does the most recent landing party of intrepid young explorers realize the fate that awaits them.

It's really just Alien 3 with sprites replaced. You play as the robot from X, Kay-Em? I think her name is Kay-Em. Anyway, bosses were traded out for Jason at various forms, so you don't fight UberJay until the last. Enemies have been replaced with enemies from the Friday the 13th NES game...so they make 0 ****ing sense at all because there's no zombies or dogs in the movie, but, **** it.

Like Lost Boy/Shadow of the Ninja, it's just a sprite swap so it's not better or worse than Alien 3. It is Alien 3. IMO that game is fine, but, not worth the money I spent.

I use Retroarch. I found an alien 3 .cht that worked so I renamed it Jason X and up'd it here:

I did not try all the cheats, just ammo and life. They worked so I figured good enough there.

If you don't use retroarch or don't know what to do with the cht info, the cheat code line is the hex for a gameshark/genie type cheat device. So in a standalone emu just go to the cheat window and pop in the code line without the quotes.

In retroarch just go to cheats, load cheat file, then once loaded turn on the cheats you want and hit apply.

a cht is a txt with a new name. You can cop and paste the above into a notepad or word doc and save as .cht and it'll be just as good as what I uploaded.

It's Alien Syndrome actually. So cheats for Alien Syndrome should work.

I was just trying to get BS to host through pics. I knew it'd be a little odd to do but I figured it was worth a shot. I didn't want to make a whole thread that's basically just me figuring it all out so I figured just muck around in the Jason thread until I'm done.

Idealistically a screenshot would serve as everything, example of the game, download link, and a means to log into only one website, but, I just can not get BS to save the pic as is so it's a bit of a dead in the water idea.

I personally only ripped Lost Boys and Jason X but I have a toooon of hacks I've already patched so I figured I'd get to work sharing those since folks struggle with patching. This was really just the beginning on that. I was hoping to make a thread of screenshots essentially. The base game compared to the hack with the roms inside the pics like the pngs are zips. I found a means to put roms in pngs but no way to upload those PNGs here without it losing the rom data.

So, probably will just work on a different way to organize everything. You know, until a mod tells me I need to stop or some such similar.

I don't have any problem reuploading or uploading more, but, I am having a bit of an issue finding a host. If you send me an email account to send them to that's probably quickest.
