I enjoyed it for about 5 or 6 hours then it gets really repetitive and uninspired. Oblivion and Mass Effect are the kind of games which take 2 or 3 playthroughs to discover every sidequest and cutscene.

Rent it if you want to judge for yourself but IMO this game wouldn't even get a mention if it wasn't for the cool adverts using Richard Ashcroft and Massive Attack tracks.

me too. i just started a new save on it aswell. i love using the ring glitch so that your character can run across the map in 2 minutes.

Bought Fallout 3 first.. Waaaay better game!

However, after getting into it I found it entertaining even though throughout the game it's pretty much the same.. Some of the Guilds were entertaining even fun to do like Dark Brotherhood and Thieves.. Some of them.. Not so much. Played it with two characters.. One fighter and one sneak..

Sneak is way cooler to play at IMO. The oblivion gates however, damn they get boring to do! So many of them and they all look alike. plus many of the quests were the same.. Fetch some **** in a cave.. retrieve it, fight someone.. retrieve something in a castle (which is built like a maze with secret buttons to open the doors, which is on the other side of the castle then where you are going..! That pissed me off a lot of times), fight someone etc..

All in all good game but it had its flaws.

          7/10 imo.
