Nsb pick em 2021 masterthread

OK gents been thinking about the Pick Ems for this week and unless I missed something whilst there's some pretty fun fights there's really nothing all that significant on this weekend. Since I got a lot of catching up to do IRL after a month on holiday as well as the catching up with the Pick Em I'm thinking we pass this week although anyone got strong feelings on any particular fights come at me and I'll give it some thought... Y'all oughta know by now what a soft touch I am when it comes to adding fights in..

To me this is a four-fight Pick Em this week, starting from Friday's card with Valdez vs Concei�ao, Nakatani vs Acosta and Flores Jr vs Lopez Vargas... all pretty even matchups to me (I smell a huge upset in the main event, BTW... that Concei�ao looks like a body snatcher, and Oscar may have been distracted by the PED scandal).

Andy Vences vs Jono Carroll is also very in the balance... I'll gladly put Sunny Edwards vs Jayson Mama in the trash bin, though I'm wishing an upset against that marathon runner...

ditch the 10 rounders IMO even if Vences Carrol is straight pickem odds. We still picking that in the sweeps regardless. I'm on a bad streak lately though

I'm open to all four, but of course whatever Koba's decision, I'm OK with that.

And yes - I have already placed my picks in the Sweeps... with TWO draws. That's what I call "clutching at straws"...

I wouldn’t be mad about skipping Fridays fights. But I’ll go with the group census

Mmmm. Well there's a funny thing... Illiev's booked to fight on both Friday and Sunday if Boxrec is accurate, Paris then Dubai, wonder how that's gonna work out for him?

But yeah... coupla decent fights on the Paris card and from Ekaterinburg asgarth, Illiev vs Cissokho and Zaur vs Dejan are both decent fights too, woulda said Kudyashov is must see viewing but I ain't so sure after the Romanov yawnfest... got a sense this one might go the same sort of way. To my mind Yoka smashes Milas in short order though.

Okay gents had a think about it and I reckon Ima pass this week.... take a breather and hopefully find a bit of time to get the leaderboard up to date. All 3 of the legit World title fights are kinda mismatches on paper, despite the unbeaten records of two of the challengers and whilst a few of the non-title fights look fun I'm not sure it's worth adding to the backlog for 'em. I was nearly swayed by the fact that next week is dead as **** when it comes to decent fights, but I don't reckon it'll hurt to have a fortnight off to catch up
