You know what, I hadn't understood fuuck... I believed we would get extra points for the Pick Em League! (Hadn't noticed the "k")...

Yeah sadly it looks like no more points for the time being - can't even donate for future use I think. Apparently it is being worked upon but ain't close to being complete... If or when they do come back online we'll sort something out plus try to get the points won or their equivalent to any winners but I wouldn't be holding my breath if I was you..

Apologies though, I shoulda familiarised myself with the new system a bit more before I made the announcement.

You'll find no sympathy from a man who threw away an x5 on Frampton, man. In my head it was still the same Semper Fi that was chewed up and spat out by teeny Denis Shafikov....

Herring has improved a little from then, but what most everybody failed to see is Frampton's swift decline after the second Santa Cruz fight. He had become rather gun-shy, was rocked badly by a non-puncher like Warrington, and even in the Traynor fight had his hands full at times.

Not to mention the war against the McGuigans, which surely took a heavy mental toll from Carl.

And STILL, after these considerations, I was fooled by the pre-fight hype into thinking that he would rise to the occasion against Jamel.

I just never learn my lessons...

Okay gents figured I'd try to get the updates done in time for tonights cards... very few real standout scores last weekend. Everyone picked Israil for the win but none of us saw it going the distance. Lotta of you picked the Akhmadaliev KO and near everyone picked him for the win and we were split precisely down the middle on Herring vs Frampton. Nobody got fewer than 2 correct (except a coupla players who missed the Tashkent card) and nobody got more than 1 perfect. Well done to Kezzer @Kollkc107 and RJJ-94-02=GOAT who picked all 3 winners and manged a perfect as well - cong**** gents.

High score this week was asgarth with the x3 bumping him up to 100 points. Well, done man.

Ah dammit. Gotta make a call between Prograis vs Redkach and Majidov vs Fedosov. Massive mismatch between two guys folk know or major step up fight with minor upset potential between an unproven ammy standout and a never quite made it veteran. I could also throw into the mix a tasty looking matchup between fellow unbeaten 15 and 0 SMWs Shvedenko and Yerbossynuly from Eggenstein just to **** with everyone but that'd just complicate matters further I think...

Ok... probably gonna go with the heavyweights this time I think... Redkach is coming in at +1000 which is kinda crazy odds (but might even be generous in this case) and given there isn't even a title on the line I think the Majiodov vs Fedosov fight has potentially more intrigue given the magnitude of the step up. Ain't seeing odds on Majidov vs Fedosov yet though so I'll just hang on alittle longer see if anything comes up.

As ever of course opinions are invited... anyone got strong feelings on either fight I'll try to take it into consideration.
