This fight is a gross mismatch. Anyone who knows boxing knows this. Santa Claus should be fighting GRJ and Tank should be facing Berchelt at 130 or Loma at 135. But this is boxing in 2020, not 1981.

On paper this fight is a total mismatch. Leo can't hit. There is not enough snap or pop on his punches to seriously threaten Gervonta Davis.

What Santa Cruz has best is his cardio, workrate and perhaps his chin but Tank would be the hardest puncher he has ever faced in his entire career. So we would just have to wait and see.

Of course they're not expecting Davis to make 130; he missed it by 2lbs three years ago and even struggled to hit 135 last time out!
By fight time Davis will be close to a super welter so that should tell you how much chance an undersized 130 like Santa Cruz has . . . .

Canelo was holding the belt at 160. He was able to fight a guy who was barely ranked in the top 10 for the unearned 168 LB title against Fielding. Where was the outrage then? Clearly the outrage is rigged and not real.

What utter garbage. Fielding had the same Regular WBA as Pacquiao did before Thurman. Canelo didn’t fight for two belts simultaneously in two divisions. No digas babosadas!

I think Tank has been protected his whole career and this fight is a perfect illustration of that. With that being said, there was no outrage from guys like you when Canelo was allowed to fight a soda can like Rocky Fielding for a fake WBA belt (of which there are many). Canelo could have fought the real WBA champ, Callum Smith, but instead chose to face the guy Smith KO'd in one round. Let that sink in for a moment.
