i agree. joshua is well conditioned and he's steady. wladimir won't throw enough to keep joshua away. in time, i expect joshua to land and remind everybody that in spite of the fact taht he was HW chamoion for 10 years, wladimir has a poor chin.

Very well said...and that is the point!...Wlad's chin makes him a liability and that's what makes this an exciting fight!!!...

They both have poor chins. Joshua was rocked by Whyte. If Klitscho lands one just one left hook I expect an easy KO victory for the old man

If AJ is too patient I think Wlad will pick him apart even at this stage in their careers. Joshua has so many holes in his D, his offence isnt nuanced enough yet, and his footwork is too basic for a slow paced fight.

He should start fast and go hard at Wlad, push him back. Wlad would normally rely on his clinching in this situation but Joshua is strong as hell and Wlad doesnt clinch so well without his size advantage.

I'm torn tbh. Josh is wide open for left hooks. He parries jabs too far infront of his face (like Pulev does to his demise), and I can defo see Wlad opening him up with the jab and exploiting the gaps that come.

But, at the same time, Wlad panics like a ***** when he gets hit. If Josh can get him panicking I think he can get the KO

The former bolded is exactly what AJ will need to do and the latter bolded is why AJ wins...

Good post. Stylistically Wlad's much tougher for AJ than he was for Fury.

Wlad in his last two fights has started to look like a fighter who is afraid to pull the trigger more and more. I like Wlad, but I think he is ready for the taking by a young skilled fighter. I'd love for Wlad to beat Joshua, but I'm seeing shades of Oscar towards the end. Or Mosley. He see's the openings but can't take them.

Yeah...it's the weirdest thing...I guess he really does fear getting KO'd again so much so that he'd rather lose by decision than going out guns blazing...smh...

Yes that's why the sport is littered with 40 year old champions. Oh wait.. I can't find ONE! Not ONE! LOL

I sort of think if the fight goes past 5-6 rounds then Wlad wins.

Suspect at this stage in his career Joshua is due to 'blow up' in a fight. It always seems to happen with the big lads at some point and Joshua is all muscle.

I'd be interested in the odds for this one. The bookies are infatuated with Joshua here - most heavies get ironed out at some point in their careers coming up. I would probably put a bit on Wlad.
