I hear that Wlad is going to fight Shannon Briggs after Jennings.

Looks like my guy Tyson is going to be waiting for his shot...

Are you joking or is that sourced? I just googled quickly and didn't see anything immediate but that one from January.

I highly doubt he'd do anything that controversial really.

At this stage he's gonna cop crap, and rightly so mind you, if he chooses any opponent really other than Fury and Wilder.

In my opinion he can and should fight both if possible before retiring.

It's fair for boxing, right for Wlad and fair to Wilder and Fury, whom are the 2 front running HW's whom haven't been defeated already by either 3 or by someone Wlad has already defeated, with a few exceptions of less proven relevance.

I would like to see Wladimir vs Fury more than Wilder.

Despite Wilder's punchers chance, reality is, Wlad can pretty easily work him out and destroy him. Fury presents more problems imo.

In my opinon, Tyson Fury is a "Super Ali", similar styled but of gigantic proportions.

No source, just a few posters on other forums who claim to be "in the know".

I doubt Wlad fights him, he would never hear the end of it.

As for Wilder/Fury/Wlad, just fight! Any combination will do! Haha

Yeah I would like to be able to rip all these monetary business contracts up in their promoters faces, tie a rope around all 3 and just chuck them in a pit or something.

The gap between fights in boxing now does not suit the way in which boxing is conducted now days. Tourney style like MMA is a better way I think.

As for if Wlad doesn't fight Fury..

If he Doesn't fight him he'll probably never hear the end of it either. Certainly from Fury fans and WK detractors.

And I myself would be disappointed too.

            Absolute horseshi.t.

I'm beginning to think the only reason you're stood so hard behind Fury is because you detest Klitschko.

The only guy here spreading BS that discredits Fury somewhat is that pond scum "KnockOutNed"

Wladimir is a minimalist-styled boxer, he purposely CHOOSES to box that way for a reason. Those tools he uses are so refined and his ring generalship and IQ so developed with it, it's unbelievable you try to describe Wlad as LESS skilled than Fury.

Fury is good at a lot of things. But will it matter against a guy who uses fewer techniques but is ultimate at doing so?

I am confident enough in a Wladimir victory to lay a little bet on him, like $100 (I'm not a gambler obviously lol).

I can see the props for Fury here too and he has a better chance than most opponents for sure.

But your a freakin idiot if you underrate what he is up against!
You are right, Wlad is not getting weaker, he is becoming more fearsome, maybe it is due to Banks intervention as coach he has moved up a notch, I'm not sure. But I like this new Wlad, the one where upon the nest is stirred up he comes out to end proceedings.

I really do hope Fury comes to fight, nothing would please me more as we can move on to Wilder ASAP.

Briggs isn't even in the running, if he fights and defeats Wilder then I'm all for it, I don't see that fight happening so the notion of entertaining talk of Briggs is preposterous. Fury is mandated, end of story. He is getting knocked out unless as Peter Fury has already stated, a bigger paying fight comes up for the toilet mouthed nephew before the mandatory.

I expect at this point all the hot air from Warren is covering the fact they've been attempting to go the softer route of Wilder and in turn attempt to prize the WBC from them to bring it back to the negotiating table for Klitschko whereby maybe they can force the fight in the UK with the same referee as Chisora vs Scott and the judges from Carl Froch's fights against Dirrell and Groves 1.

Yes I am I am insinuating the only way Fury can beat Klitschko is that force of Warren intervention, it isn't quite the higher divine but it goes somewhere close to that of other worldly, in short cheating.

Wlad considered Briggs for the HBO date after Jennings got cold feet, their is no circumstance in Wlad's next fight whereby Briggs becomes a factor, he is not only tied in with HBO he has a mandate to fulfill.

If you or any other Fury fan concerned with Wlad ducking Fury, please show me the last time Wlad avoided an ordered fight, last I checked he still had every belt he has acquired since he last loss.

Fury fans don't actually believe Wlad will duck him, they are just paranoid Fury will duck another ordered fight on the part of their man challenging for world honours, his track record is second to none in recent years avoiding final eliminations. In turn making them look more foolish than they already look.

I agree it would be nice for Fury to compete for a world title, he beat Chisora as convincingly if not more so than he convincingly ducks orders from governing bodies to contest these said eliminations. I really do hope he goes on to challenge Wladimir, I just reserve serious doubts he will, in turn maybe hoping he retires or something other resulting in Fury competing for a vacant belt or like Peter Fury has hinted, Wilder.

When a fighter is more motivated by money than ring success I question their heart, I question Fury for this reason alone, he comes from a dishonest background with a family of former criminals.

To warm to this guy I can not, he has the personality of an ulcer.

Not true his best wins are against Olympic gold medalists, unified cruisers who have gone on to gold success at heavy, and former world title champs, lineal heavy champs and guys who have too defeated any of the above mentioned.

Fury may be a top ten win at a push, but Pulev has had a far more convincing career and ranks far higher, Fury likely resides alongside the Wach and Mormeck wins.
