I think the main thing positive to be said in all of this is that the spirit of the British fans is basically unmatched and unshakable.

The shameful fat yanks should take a leaf out of their book imo.

It would be quite a fairy tale for Fury to win this fight, but alas... I just don't see how he could do it.

None of this stuff matters, honestly. If you break down the fighters, their styles and ability I come to this conclusion:

Fury will get bamboozled from the outside, so its pretty obvious what he is going to do and how he is going to fight, he will try to jab his way inside and maul Klitschko. Wladimir will also fight aggressively because of Fury's dimensions and size advantage. Result?...a messy fight, especially early on. Expect a lot of clinching, mauling. I think Fury will try to work inside and Wlad will hold, so it will be messy, probably punches being thrown in the clinch and rabbit punching.

The keys to each fighters success is going to be based on whether Wladimir can keep the distance long enough to do damage and rack up rounds with his superior footwork and outside fighting, or whether Fury can be effective with the jab, close the distance and mess Klitschko up on the inside, Fury is a very good fighter in the pocket and has good skills, I don't say this lightly, he is a better, more skilful and natural fighter than Wlad in the pocket. That is where his bread and butter is going to be. Normally this is a fools gold for anyone facing Wlad because he can easily neutralise them on the inside with superior strength and height and his leaning tactics, but Fury himself is a very strong man and is actually taller so that is why I think this fight is intriguing.

Saying all of that Wladimir is extremely difficult to get to, and I think even for Fury it will be very difficult. You have to avoid Wlad's jab and avoid knockout punches on your way to the inside which is why I still make Wladimir the favourite. But I can see how Fury could potentially win, which is more than you can say for a lot of other fighters. What Fury has shown is that he can knock guys out and do damage with short punches and almost arm punches, he isn't what you would call a devastating puncher, but he carries knockout power, and against Wladimir I think that can be enough if you can deliver that power.

It really is an interesting fight, I will reiterate, I don't think it will be aesthetically pleasing, but it will be interesting to see how they both deal with the problems the other presents.

Stylistically it is interesting but I think wlad is too many levels above in terms of his polished skillset.

Fury is too loose and not focused and sharp enough to pull off his strategy which is why i dont see him winning

Yeah, they're showing the Brook-Chavez fight first, then moving to Germany for the main event.

I think it's PPV in Germany as well via RTL.

He absolutely killed that press conference, Looks like he got under Wlads skin a bit.

F.uck Wlad has the personality of a corpse and watching him fight isn't much better, Got to Give him his props for holding down the #1 spot for years but hoping he takes that L on Oct 24

                  Surely this is a joke?

wlad regurgitating the same boring nonsense he spoke about to Haye is your idea of "owning" someone?

Christ, Wlad was boring at that press conference.

His personality is really like his style in the ring. Exceptionally boring and uninteresting.
