This Saturday April 27th, HBO and Showtime have two decent cards lined up. I thought I'd make it interesting and come up with a game. I’ll call it the N.S.B. Prediction Game. Only N.S.B. stands for Now Stop Bull****ting.
The following fights are the only ones included...
HBO
1. Martinez-Murray
2. Abregu-Decarie
3. Arreola-Stiverne
SHO
4. Judah-Garcia
5. Quillin-Guerrero
6. Khan-Diaz
7. Harrison-Wilder
8. Abdusalamov-Ceballos
Rules and point system
1. You get 1 point for picking the winner
2. You get 1 point for picking the way it ends ei. *TKO/KO, **UD/SD/MD, Draw, RTD, or DQ
*TKO/KO will be 1 are both the same and are only 1 point but if you could guess the exact finish you get 1 additional bonus point.
**Same as the above for decision outcomes
3. If the fight is stopped, you get 2 points for guessing the exact round
For example let's say I pick Garcia KO 4 and it ends that exact way, I'll get 1 point for picking the winner, 1 point for picking a TKO/KO, 1 bonus point for picking the exact finish, and 2 additional bonus points for picking the round for a total of 5 points.
All of the points for each individual fight will be tallied and the person with the most points will win, 20,000,000,000 e-points. The only way your points will count is if it’s an official recorded win, meaning even if you thought the fighter was robbed, if it’s recorded as a win for the other fighter, you do not get the points!
If there's a tie, the person that posted first will win. I'll announce the winner the following afternoon Sunday April 28th.
Please use the following scheme for your picks... (these are also my picks but I’m not counting them)
1. Martinez TKO 10
2. Abregu MD
3. Arreola KO 5
4. Garcia TKO 9
5. Quillin TKO 4
6. Khan UD
7. Wilder KO 4
8. Abdusalamov TKO 5
Good luck gentlemen.
